Ryzen 5 1600 + GTX 1060 3GB or RX 580 8GB?

Im trying to decide which one i should go for. I do have a freesync monitor (ACER XFA240 144hz) so the RX 580 will benefit from that, but im going to run most if not all of my games on low, so i should be consistent 100+ fps always no matter what. However some people say the 1060 is better even if its 3gb and i see some other people say its the rx 580 thats better.

the 1060 6gb and 580 are virtually equal. I'd probably lean more towards the 580 for the freesync

1060 3gb vs rx 580 be it the 4gb or 8gb model?

580 is hands down better without a single argument, the fact youre running a freesync screen just amplifies that .

You would be plain nuts to even consider the 1060!!

The 1060 6GB is roughly equal with the RX 580. The 1060 3GB is ~10% weaker than the 1060 3GB.

Should be between 580 8gb and 1060 6gb. 580 is better than a 3gb 1060.
