I'm looking at a possible upgrade to mobo/ram/cpu with the next launch of CPUs, and I thought I'd try and cherry pick the RAM to use. Ideally I'd like to stick with Samsung, but I'm running in to a problem with figuring out who is using Samsung chips (vs Hynix, Micron, etc) in their RAM modules. When I check motherboard QVC lists, sometimes they say who's IC is who's and sometimes it's just left blank.
Does anyone have a good resource to look this up prior to purchasing a set?
