Just looking to finally get away from amd, though seemingly cheaper and simpler I just think its high time I went intel (first computer I built was amd FX 8350 + RX 480 gpu, which i do not recommend!). I've been browsing on amazon and newegg and cant seem to find a good intel mobo that supports ddr3 ram, looking for good recommendations (with links pls). Gonna just buy a new mobo, gpu and processor and slap it in my old case with everything else. Figured I could save money just sticking to ddr3 since I already have 4 8gb ddr3 sticks.
sidenote does anyone have recommendations for which gtx 1080 to get? I see one on amazon a lot cheaper than the others

I don't really know the difference between any of the cards tbh, so many models. Might have to wait until cyber monday or something to actually grab one though.
