How do I tell what part of my PC is overheating?

How do I tell what part of my PC is overheating and causing it to completely Shut down? Here's the issue. I got a brand new Motherboard and a new Processor as the final upgrades to my PC that I first built over 6 years ago. (Intel core i7-8700k Coffe Lake 6-Core Processor and ASRock Z370 Professional Gaming i7 Motherboard.

When I play a certain game, some days my PC will just shut off while playing it. Usually that is a sign of overheating, so I figured, sure let's upgrade to a good Liquid Cooling system for my new Processor. It still happens. I bought a new Rear Case fan to help pull more Hot Air from the case. It still happens. I have also researched how to check the Event Viewer in Windows 10. However, the only information it provides is a common error code, and "The computer shut off unexpectedly" So outside of that. I don't know what else could be happening. I don't know of another way to check which component is overheating and causing the computer to crash. I also cleaned out a lot of dust including on the Power Supply.

I will mention ahead of time, that I have continuously checked HWMonitor to see what is overheating. In that game, My Processor is around 42 mostly with a Max during the Gaming session of about 62. My Graphics Card is around like 72 or so. But you never see it when the computer just randomly shuts off.

I have a 1000 Watt Power Supply. After reading through a ton of posts about overheating over the past few weeks. I did decide to buy a new 1000 Watt Power Supply right before I made this post.

I will mention that before I bought my new Processor and Motherboard, I was getting notifcation (toasts) on my computer about something V-Core and sometimes it would be like 0.000 V or some number negative or positive. Never knew what it meant, but obviously that has something to do with the Power Supply. My PSU was relatively new to my computer and I figured 1000 Watts is on the upper end of PSU units you could have. Also it is Bronze Certified. I just checked and I guess 2015 isn't too recent. Rosewill Hive Series 1000W Modular Gaming Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified, Single +12V Rail,

Your system does not seem to be overheating.

When you replaced the motherboard did you re-install Windows? Is anything overclocked? Did you test the system without the video card or with a known good video card? Try different RAM?

I did reinstall Windows, I have never overclocked anything. I did not test it without a video card, but mine is a GeForce GTX 970 and I bought new Ram with the Motherboard because my old Motherboard used DDR3 and I needed DDR 4
