Work filters bypass

Hi guys!

I am new here so bear with me for a moment.

As of 2 weeks ago, the company that I work for has implemented some filters within the network. One is Symantec Blue Coat and the other one is McAffee.

I have tried using vpn extensions in chrome, no luck. I was thinking about installing Tor, but i don't know what are the implications. Should there be any vpn programs that I can install or anything that can bypass these filters, kindly help.

Any idea is appreciated. Help a brother out.

Even if there was a way this is against the forum rules.

You have to remember IT guys do this for a living. Anything you can think of they likely have thought of also and will block it. When you have companies like bluecoat whose business is content filters they would not sell many products if you could bypass it.

When a company uses commercial solutions there likely is no way to bypass it.

Besides is it really worth losing your job. If you were to actively bypass some blockage you are going to have a hard job trying to say it was by accident.
