How do I get two computers to communicate which are in different buildings with two seperate wifi connections? Is this possible?

Well, for ease and if they are that close it would be easiest to set them up on the same local network. Set up a "new" SSID that will associate to your business and then log each respective computer into that wireless network. Then you can use various share methods based on the level of security you require.

You could attempt to use something like Team Viewer to do what you want if you cannot access the same wireless from both. Be aware that if you attempt to move anything that might be copyright protected across Team Viewer it will reject your connection.

.7 mile is a bit different to me than "yards apart", lol

The office I help run is all 'virtual' in that the main operations go in my home and then the rest is taken care of by different individuals miles apart. All of our paperwork is all electronic. We use a combination of cloud based products and a walkie talkie like app for our phones to make life easy.

Unless you are aware of a WAP that has that kind of range.

I have installed IP cameras that use a wireless setup that works that far. I honestly cannot say that I have used anything like it to use for computer traffic. I can only imagine something exists to do so but it won't be cheap.

I feel your pain there for sure. It's a total PITA trying to do plans electronically, having to deal with the 15 different formats people want to sent...and you are "to scale .pdf, please?"

Someone is going to be courier or needs to move to respective other building?
