Bootmgr and checksum errors after removing faulty secondary hdd AND MORE!

Will try to make this as short as the 7 hour story can be.

Secondary HDD started dying a few days back (music and software on HDD lags, League of Legends probably boots for more than 10 mins etc.) and my mobo's S.M.A.R.T started alerting me about it too. Moving 5-10 GB music from the HDD to USB Drive took 9 hours.
I bought an SSD to become my new secondary drive (another SSD has windows installed on it.) When I came home from work I switched the HDD up with the new SSD and after that "Bootmgr is missing" ??? Windows is installed on a totally other SSD though!
I pop my Win 7 CD in to reinstall the whole OS but "The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."
I switched my both RAM sticks in the both main RAM slots individually without results. I did a BIOS CMOS reset without results. I removed my GPU without results.
Someone on some forum said my HDD might have the file(s) that point my computer to the boot files on my SSD and that might be the problem. Too bad my HDD currently is good for nothing.
I started making a windows 7 bootable USB on my laptop (which I currently type on) while running Hiren's Boot CD on my PC. I tried to fix the MBR with FixMbr and an another program but have no results.
When my Win7 USB drive finished I plugged it in and went to boot from it, but got "Bootmgr is missing" which is weird. I tried to boot from Hiren's boot CD again and got "Bootmgr is missing" as well. My Win10 Laptop did not recognize either of these USB drives after that, even though it did make a sound and tell me that a USB drive has been plugged in.
I got my Win7 USB recognized on my laptop after uninstalling it from device manager and scanning for hardware changes, but this did not work for Hiren's Boot CD!

Still badly stuck with my PC.

What can I do? What could be wrong?

Specs:

Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Ranger
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB (x2)
GPU: Asus Strix NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k @4GHz
PSU: Corsair RM850
SSD: Transcend 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (removed, faulty)
New SSD:pNY CS900 120GB (removed after bootmgr issue started)

Desperate to fix my computer!

Solution
Get a different install media. Looks like your install media is damaged/corrupt.

To clean the drive, you boot from install media into command prompt and use diskpart.

Think I tried that once already, but I retried again.

"The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum." After the disk spun and stopped a couple of times.

BTW How can I clean it if I can't access it in any way? Darik's Boot and Nuke would be on Hiren's Boot CD but since that mysteriously died...

When you install Windows you should only have the drive your installing it on connected. Otherwise Windows will leave stuff on all the other drives and on boot up it will pole them slowing your boot-up and if you've removed that drive then you will get an error. Best to wipe the boot drive, disconnect all the other drives then do a fresh install. Good luck!

I'll try to make a brand new installation USB asap. I'll also try to find another CD and/or get a friend to test my CD. Even if I get new installation media I doubt I can get further than "Press any key to boot." I'll report back tonight.

Ok so I managed to fix my Hiren's Boot CD at work (re-made it.) I also re-made my Win7 USB Drive in to a Win10 USB.
At home I attached my older SSD and ran Darik's Boot and Nuke from Hiren's Boot CD 15.2. It finished with some errors. Also when I was selecting my SSD in the Win10 installation menus, it said that there was only 30/120GB free on the drive even though I ran DBAN? Appearently formatting via Win10 installation worked, but clearly my SSD is going bad as well.

For now I'm running Win10 on my old SSD but I'm prepping for taking my brand new one in to use.

Thanks for all the help fellas. Love this forum :D

Your lucky SSDs have really come down in price now.get a new bigger one.
