Motherboard BIOS glitch after installing new SSD

Im upgrading my old SSD with Win10 on it to a new Samsung 860 EVO 1tb on a Maximus IX Hero. Problem is that after I hook up all the wires and load into the BIOS to install Win10, the screen becomes glitched out. I have to mouse over the options to see them. If I reconnect my previous SSD (which was 72gb Intel) everything works fine, BIOS doesn't glitch out. The closest thing to my problem I've found has been "artifacts" but then again, this isnt exactly it. I've called ASUS but even
they couldnt figure out the problem. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a bad SSD? I haven't seen an answer to this problem so if we do figure it out, I'll be sure to update. Thank you.

Solution
I've had an issue like this before. For me it was a bad SSD, you will need to RMA it. The fact that it works when you plug in your old SSD proves it.

Sorry, RMA stands for?

Return Merchandise Authorization. Basically returning the products for any viable reason depending on who/where you bought it from. In this case being a faulty SSD meaning that any seller should accept you returning it.

Alright, sucks I'll have to wait longer but its well worth it. I hoped it was something I could fix, that's what ASUS led me to believe. Thanks for the advice!

No worries man! I know exactly how that feels. Best of luck!
