GTX 1060 fan won't stop spinning

Hello, first thread here.

So recently i've changed my motherboard and processor from MSI B360M + i7 8700 to Asrock X470 + R7 2700x.

My GPU, Inno3D iChill X3 definitely has the support to turn off the fan on idle as it works normally on my previous setup without installing anything.

But when i changed, the fan simply won't stop spinning even i have a cooler condition than before. I've tried to reinstall the drivers but it doesn't work.

It's possible to manually 0% the fan speed from the Inno3D OC tool, but it doesn't support curve so it stays 0% even on load while the auto mode never goes below 27% speed.

So can anyone help me to turn the fan off maybe with third party app or anything?

I spent most of time doing animation which doesn't utilize the GPU so it's just plain annoying.

Thanks

make sure the mb has the newest bios and you have the newest chipset drivers from amd installed. when you swap mb did you do a clean install of windows. if not do that see if the fan stops. if not see if msi after burner works better.

I did update the BIOS, nothing happens. I did not want to clean install my windows as i had too many apps that i won't bother to reinstall for such trivial annoyance. But thanks, MSI Afterburner worked great. I forgot it has fan curve setting.
