I built a new computer this spring and the motherboard's rear audio ports have never worked. The microphone and headphone jack in the front of my case work just find and I've been using them for months but now I want to plug my headphones into the back of the computer.
I have repeatedly tried to install the audio driver on the MSI site. Once I download the file and installed, the program requested restarting my computer twice. However nothing happened upon the second restart and I'm still unable to find the program that was installed.
Not really sure what to do. I just want to make my audio jacks work as they should. Can anyone help?
I'm running Windows 10 64bit. CPU is a Ryzen 5 2400g, 16 gig memory, GPU is RX 580, case is Corsair 200r. Sound will come from the monitor when headphones are not plugged into front of case.
