I'm about to order all of my parts for my ryzen rig. I'm not sure which PSU I should actually go with.
Corsair CXM550 or Seasonic M12 620W

R5 2400G ---------->Will be adding RX580 in a few months
ROG Strix b450f ----------->Don't want to flash the bios w my cpu, this MB should be safe
GSkill 3000mhz 2x8 TridentZ
Wraith Prism cooler
ThermalTake v200 TG case w/3 RGB fans
3 Coolermaster RGB fans
WD Green 120G SSD
WD Blue 7200rpm 1TB hdd
Seagate 2tb 5400rpm Hdd -------------->External hdd converted to internal
Asus PCE - 55B wireless card

not sure which PSU is best. If the corsair can handle the RX580 when it goes in, I'll probably go with that. Let me know what you think of the parts list for the build. If it looks solid, I'll order asap.

The only upgrade I'll probably make to this particular system is the RX580. Maybe a different cpu in a year. but probably not. will the 550 be able to handle the RX580 with everything else?

Between those two I would say go with the Seasonic.

From what we have been seeing lately as the CX units are starting to have some age on them they seem to be failing or having issues like the old green units did. (Gaming systems with higher end GPU's)

Starting to see more of them as time goes on here, too early yet to make a definite warning.... Not quite a trend yet, but we will see as time goes on.

But I wouldn't use one on a bet personally, the TXM and RMX and above are very good though.

The Seasonic is a proven rock solid unit however.

Starting to see issues lately as people are upgrading their GPU's to the higher end GTX 1080 and GTX 1080Ti and have Corsair CX and CXM PSU's.

But then they shouldn't be using budget PSU's in those types of systems in the 1st place.

This is off subject, but I noticed it says Motherboard Expert next to your name. I'm buying a Thermal Take v200 w the ROG Strix b450. The case will sync w the board as long as the board has a 12V header. Will I be able to sync my case to this board?
