Hey everyone !
Trying very hard to solve what seems to be an insolvable issue...
Everything was working fine until one day my screen went black and the only working port is the motherboard VGA port. Nor motherboard's HDMI nor GPU's HDMI ports work (the screen remains totally black).
Except sometimes using HDMI I can see the POST section but when it boots into an OS (windows/ubuntu on dual boot), then I only get a black screen.
Now I know that:
- The screen is working fine (tested with another computer on the HDMI port)
- The computer boots and works fine
- The HDMI cable is fine too.
I cleared CMOS, kept up to date MB, CPU chipset...
My config is the following:
- MB : ASUS Z87-G45;
- CPU: I5-4670k
- GPU : Radeon RX480 MSI
- PSU : Corsair RM550X
It seems like the computer is unable to process numerical video signal (didn't test with DVI or displayport though...)
Does anyone have an idea ?
