I recently got an i7 8700K on my MSI z370 Gaming M5. It works fine, but when I see its usage through HWmonitor, usage is about 1-5% and Clock speed is always at 4.3 Ghz, sometimes dropping to 800Mhz, temps around 35-40 ºC. All on Idle.
Is this normal?
