Just built my new pc and it will not show a display on the monitor. There is a red light that shows up on the motherboard under ‘boot’. The fans are spinning and I have checked the ram but that is not it. Any suggestions?

please post your system spec
you may have put an Intel 8xxx on z270 or vice versa
if you're not good at building PC :??:, you should always ask the forum for hardware compatibility before you build your system.

Sorry, I have fixed the issue! I just had to remove my usb device and then it booted. However, my computer doesn’t recognise my usb in M-flash once I add it. It’s a new usb that I brought today and it works on my computer so I know it’s not broken. I’m trying to install windows 10 but as my usb is not recognised, I’m just stuck at the bios menu. My mobo is a B350 Pc Mate. Thanks for the reply guys

I downloaded windows 10 of their website where it says “Create windows 10 installation media - download tool now”. I have windows 10 on the usb. I have tried the usb in 3 different ports but none are recognised

So you downloaded the tool, ran it and selected the "create installation media for another pc" option and selected that particular usb stick as the destination? If thats the case I would perhaps be trying a different usb stick in case theres a compatibility issue of sorts.
