Okay I was finding that my ryzen 5 2400 stock was getting a bit hot for my liking uptown 70c full load on the stock and stealth cooler

I bought the cooler below to replace it and have found that is not really any better sitting hitting late 60s. Also can't even control the panel though Asus panel anymore.

ARCTIC Freezer 13-200 Watt Multicompatible Low Noise CPU Cooler for AMD and Intel Sockets with pre-applied MX-4 High Performance Thermal Compound https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0048F64DU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_EcaSBb0QRPEGD

bought from Amazon considering I've put this cooler on. Do you think I can return it and get my money back

You're saying full load. Just to confirm, you do mean at 100% right? If yes, then you should be expecting those kinds of temperature.

The only thing that can solve this would be to get a very good 240/280/360 Liquid Cooling AIO like the NZXT Kraken or other models from Corsair and Cooler Master, add some good noctua static pressure fans like the NF-A12x25 which are quiet, as well as better thermal paste like the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

Even then, you probably hit Hi-50s Lo-60s at 100% load.

AHH see I could only fit a 120mm cooler in my case. So guess sleatg is best option for the moment and early to late 60s fine for max temapture at 100% load on all cores

No you don't have too, that's not too bad already.

What case do you have and what case fans do you have?

Although note that case fans improve general heat dissipation within the case. So they're only worth upgrading if the general temperatures are high. Best way to see this is by checkin GPU temps under 100%. Is it over 75 degrees when you're playing games?

And BTW, what are your CPU temps when you're gaming and not at 100%?

GPU I believe is about 50-60 whilst gaming. Inside case temp is 40c under gaming condition. Motherboard temp about 42c Where I'm play for instance tomb raider on max for hours on end.

Small micro ATX with 2x 120mm at the front and 1 X 80mm at the back and 120 at the side. Front intake side and back exhaust.
