HERE'S MY BUILD:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tkVdJ8

so my issue is my budget. I have $720 saved up and my parents said they'd give me $300. That's $1,020. So the SSD I'm trying to buy got removed from pcpartpicker's list, but Best Buy is selling it for $168.

Basically, the issue is that I am $168 short.

I don't have enough money to buy everything in my build so I'm wondering what I should go cheaper on.

I already bought the RAM and the GPU and their prices are not in my list total.

Here's my requirements:

-Case is not changing
- I need the 1 TB SSD that's fast for my operating system to be fast + games
- CPU is staying the same

I'm wondering if I need the Cooler. I know the CPU I'm ordering has a stock cooler so I might be able to use that, right? I heard this CPU runs really hot and that's why I'm worried the stock cooler might not do. If I cut the CPU cooler out and bought the SSD I want + everything in the list, I should be able to just scrape by and get a little bit extra from my parents.

Do you have any tips on what I should go lower on in price or if its safe to not buy the CPU cooler? I'm not gonna be overclocking at all, and I won't eve think about it until I bought the cooler. Will it be okay?

While removing the cooler would be a great way to reduce price, thats about it.
You refuse to go cheaper on the components that would actually make a difference.
Smaller SSD would save money, you really dont need 1TB+1TB
Case is extremely overpriced.
Probably paid too much for RAM.
You can use windows 10 without a key for right now, you cant do any personalization options, but its fully functional.

That sounds perfect. I could run the PC for a month or two until I have enough money like $200 more and then buy the cooler and the key, but what do you mean I don't need a key for Windows 10? How would I even get it? I've been using Windows 7 most of my life and only have one PC downstairs with 10. If I dont use a key when I set up and use my PC for the month or two, when i buy a key will it change anything?

Awesome, thank you for answering all my stupid questions! I am wondering one newb thing though- Once i build my PC and I turn it on, what will happen? Will i go to my BIOS, set that up, then ill plug in a flash drive with the windows media downloaded onto it from the website you linked and then set up windows without a key from there?

only need 409 W but wouldn't leave enough money, would still need >$50 even with a $40 PSU

I would do it like this,

- rgb cooler , sure you cant clock it that hard as the 100 dollar liquid cooler, but then you're realling looking for the edges. also with this cooler you can get a great overclock.

- fill that 1tb ssd first, after that u can always add a 1tb hdd (its plug and play)

- smart case by nzxt , with lots of control and customazation

- enough juice to power your whole system with ease.

Why do you NEED a $165 case? You honestly want to cut out the cooler that will impact performance, but keep the $150+ case that doesn't? I'm also not sure why there is no price next to the SSD. You also don't need a $90 850W PSU. As above, the 550W $65 PSU will work just fine for you.
