Hi, my system consists of https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wcGH3b .
I play games like fortnite, and other FPS', and sometimes I suffer from fps spikes that go from to as high as 100 to 10 in a matter of seconds, and then sometimes it goes back up. As you can see from the pcpartpicker list, I have a single stick of 8 GB ram, but was wondering if an extra stick would help my problem of FPS drops, and maybe would help me have a better gaming experience. Thank you.
EDIT: It is also worth noting that I am somewhat bottlenecked by my processor for some reason.

I would be monitoring your memory usage, if you're getting close to 8GB usage then the system is probably swapping stuff over to virtual memory which will cause stutters.
If that's the case then another 8GB will definitely help.

That cpu is fine for your graphics card, you might see a slight bottleneck in cpu heavy games like battlefield, for games like fortnite thought there shouldn't be any issues with your cpu.
The bottleneck will be your memory if you don't have enough.

Okay, thank you again for the response. Any programs you'd recommend for testing? I am using MSI afterburner with the on screen display.
