I have been looking for a good ssd to boot windows off for around 75 Canadian dollars and have narrowed it down to two, the adata xpg sx6000 256gb or the crucial mx500 250gb.

https://www.amazon.ca/ADATA-SX6000-256GB-Gen3x2-ASX6000NP-256GT-C/dp/B075Y4JN6W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

The adata seems to preform better than the crucial and i like the m.2 form factor but im not sure if i should get the crucial for better reliability.

OK, that will take either an NVMe drive OR a SATA drive.

Personally, that ADATA is a poor performer in the NVMe world. Significantly slower than other NVMe drives like a WD Black or Samsung 970.

If I were going for an NVMe drive, I'd go wit teh 970 EVO.

Yes, it is more money, but better performance.

Otherwise, a SATA based drive like the MX 500 or Samsung 860 EVO. Both of which can also be had in the m.2 package.
