So I used to have an i5 7600k and recently got the i7 8700k 6 core 4.7ghz. When I put the i7 cpu in and turn my computer on it turns on then right off. When looking at the EZ Debug LED program on my motherboard the CPU LED flickers on then off with the computer. When I put my i5 back in my computer starts up just fine though. I tested to see if it was my PSU by taking out my 1080 Graphics card and put my 1060 in but having the same problem

Spec:
CPU: I7 8600k 6 core 4.7 Ghz
Motherboard: MSI Z270-A Pro
GPU: Geforce GTX 1080 8GB
PSU: Rosewell 600W
RAM: Consair 2 × 8GB DDR4 2400

You put a 8th gen CPU into the unsupported motherboard. Just buy a 7th gen CPU instead.

BTW, 8600k is still i5 CPU, not i7 CPU.

Your i5 7600k is a gen 7 core i5, and you did buy a i5 8600k which is a gen 8 core i5. I think you intend to upgrade your CPU to i7, so the right one you should get is i7 7700k (a gen 7 core i7).
