I'm looking to build a pc for gaming on a budget. For now I'm not gonna buy a GPU ( probably a GTX 1060). Shall buy it the next year or so. So which CPU should I go with, Ryzen 5 2400G or Ryzen 5 2600. And also suggest a motherboard for the same. I'll be gaming purely on CPU power till I get a GPU.

Solution
The 2600 does not have integrated graphics so as the previous poster said, you will need a gpu of some sort to even get the pc to display. Either way regardless of which cpu you go for I would recommend a b350, or preferably a b450 (to save yourself headaches with BIOS compatibility) as a minimum. They will allow you to overclock and get the most out of your system.

It's like Ryzen 2600 [6 cores] + 1030 GT DDR5 vs 2400g [4 cores] with + 3200 mhz memory
... as you plan upgrade I would go with 2600. But still it depends on your budget.

[other thing which you could take into consideration would be Nvidia with Freesync (2400g + GTX/RTX_ but you mentioned GTX 1060 which has equivalent in AMD cards, but if you were going to buy e.g. 2080 / 1080ti then it would be a nice option :p ]
