Ways to email 200 people instantly

Good morning all, apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I do payroll and I now have a new client with roughly 200 employees - They want the employees payslips emailing, which is fine because my software supports that.

But my software attempts to send all 200 payslips instantly, and therefore gets errors as most providers have sending limits. My provider being one.com and they allow 25 emails every 5 mins so only the first 25 people receive their email.

I only need to send these 200 emails instantly once per month - So I think all these ridiculously expensive solutions on google aren't a solution due to the fact I'm paying for the capability of sending 50k+ emails when i only need to send 200.

(Software email settings = https://www.12pay.co.uk/MailSettings.aspx)

Does anyone know what the best solution for this would be?

My software can let employees login and view their payslips at £60 per month but that just seems a bit steep when emailing them is surely cheaper?

Many thanks
Liam

A simple solution would be to write something that sends the mails in batches of 25 after every 5-6 minutes of wait. This way you could send all 200 mails within an hour. Perhaps the easiest though not the most elegant solution.

You might also want to think about putting an unsubscribe link into all mails to avoid people clicking report as spam, even though they have subscribed on your system.

If I was the employee I am not so sure I would want you sending something as sensitive as payroll info via email. Almost nobody uses secure email which allows interception in the path. Even if interception in the path were not a problem you have sites like gmail that admit to scanning email that is stored. All it takes is them to make a small mistake and you now have finacial information at risk.

Way to many people are too trusting of email.

You could do what a lot of banks and credit card companies do and send message with very little information but with links to let you log into your account to get more. Kinda defeats the purpose in your case if your goal is to avoid the login.

I thought the same RE emailing payslips - Never done it for anyone else before but their old accountant did it and the employees want to continue that way. Think I'll just use the secure online login to view payslips, costs a bit but seems the safest and also much easier solution

Yeah that would be good - I did ask the software people if that's something they could implement for me. If they want large people using their system you'd think they'd have something like that in place rather than trying to send every single one instantly!

Gmass has a 50 email limit within a short time frame. Need all 200 to go straight away or my software has a tantrum - Can't resend the remaining emails at a later time!
