I’m waiting on my PSU to be delivered today so been getting things as ready as I can. The question is I’m not sure where the case u/i connectors go. These are the connectors that came with the case that’s built in. I took a couple pics does this look like the right location? I’m using my old alienware MOBO and theirs not many connector locations just want a second opinion from the community.

That doesn't look right at all! You need to be specific with the make and model of your Alienware. Connecting the wrong ports on a functioning motherboard can and will kill it. It looks to me like you're rebuilding your prebuilt, might I also ask what the components for your rebuild are?

I can't find the wiring diagram for your I{K8L-SC board although it's made by Asus(judging from the font). Given how the board has proprietary connectors for the front panel, I might eventually ask you to revert to your old case.

After doing some research I found out where i plugged them Into was the “Password ResetnJumper” and “CMOS reset jumper”. Everything’s up top clearly states things like fan, cpu, gpu etc. so this is the only place where they could
Be plugged into.

I’m in a bind because the Alienware computer came with a 450watt PSU and my new 2080 needs a 650watt. The Alienware psu is built in a way where I cant just install a new one so I got a new case and psu and trying to use as much of the old parts as possible.

It’s an Alienware Aurora R7. About 2-3 years old. The mobo is one from the Alienware

The cpu, ram, etc was all attached and moved over didn’t mess with anything.

The new case is a Corsair 400c

The PSU I’m going to pick up when Best Buy opens is a modular Corsair RM750X

Trying not to get a new mobo because I want one that willl support the new 9th gen cpus when theirs released later.
