Hi, so i'm gonna build very soon a pc with ryzen 7 2700x, and i got simple question. Is the ryzen 7 2700x stock cooler enough? I'm not only going to game, i'll do other things too, and one of the main things i'm gonna do is rendering. So, will stock cooler be enough to keep cpu cool, when i'm rendering for example 3 videos at the same time and doing other tasks. Or when i'm gaming and rendering vid at the same time. Also, i'm not gonna overclock.

Solution
Yeah, the AMD stock cooler is really good. Especially if you are not going to overclock the CPU. But even then, the stock cooler can support a decent OC. Don't waste the money on an aftermarket cooler.

I think it is overpriced. But that is just my opinion. Ryzen CPUs are not really strong overclockers and they usually hit frequency limits before they have trouble with heat. So I would go with the stock cooler. But aesthetics also play a lot to it and the Max looks pretty good as does liquid cooling.
