I recently built a pc and I'm using a Gigabyte Aorus z370 gaming 3 motherboard. It utilized all of the usb 2.0 headers and now I can't connect the aio to the motherboard. I tried using a PCIe card that has a usb 3.0 header and used a 3.0 to 2.0 usb header to connect the two but in vain. When I switch the pc on, everything except for the aio lights up. Please Help!!!!

The kraken only needs one row of the pins from a USB2.0 header. The connector for the AIO is a double stacked row/connector which means you can mod/remove the pins from the AIO and reinsert them on another connector provided one row is empty.

Regardless, might you be able to state how you've used up all 4 of the USB2.0 ports on your board?

I have the same problem. Did you find a fix? I have a gigabyte X399 but my NZXT H700I has two USB 2.0's, one for the power and another for the NZXT Hue. These both connect to my mobo and I don't have another 2.0 slot. Should I buy a USB 2.0 splitter?

Yes I did. I bought a Usb 2.0 cable and connected the small end to the Kraken and the other end to a usb 2.0 port on the motherboard's I/o panel (the panel on the back of the case where you connect your keyboard and mouse etc.). Works just fine! No issues whatsoever.
