I was playing overwatch suddenly my fps drops and everything was slow and laggy and then i heard loud fan noises so i went to check my cpu it indicates that it was 99/100 degrees, i check my cpu usage on my task manager but it was all normal. I havent cleaned my pc in awhile but i just cleaned it and it is still the same. I cant live a day without using my computer, will the cpu explode or get destroyed if i keep playing with it running on 99/100 degrees?

Is the CPU/Cooler hot to the touch? If not, then you have a malfunctioning sensor.
But, if it is, then you need to sort your cooling out.
Start by taking the cooler off, removing the fan and cleaning the heatsink fins. Reassemble.
Clean the old thermal paste off the cpu before applying fresh paste and remounting the cooler.

What is your cpu, cooler, and case?

If you are at 99%, something is likely wrong.
What is your idle temperature?
I expect to see 10-15c. over ambient with any cooler at idle.

Likely, your cpu is throttling to protect itself.
If it sees 100c, it is likely to shut down to protect itself.

Perhaps, in this case, you might just need to clean the heat sink. It might be full of dust, depending on your environment.
But, if your touch test reveals it's only room temperature, it could be a faulty sensor that your system is reacting to.
To be safe though, make sure that the cooler is still securely mounted at the very least. Ask a buddy who has some knowledge too assist you, though it's not difficult.
