Hello everyone,
Last night, I tested my rig with different configurations to figure out what’s the problem that causes low gpu usage in Battlefileld 1.
Let me explain: I have a Samsung 144hz monitor 1080p and I play with Vsync off, all settings Ultra.
When I play on 100% resolution scale (1080p) I get 85-77 FPS and an unstable 80% to 95% (most time on 80s) GPU usage.
Here is the thing: When I upscale the resolution to 133% and I turn Vsync on, I get almost the same FPS 85-75 FPS and I can reach a stable 99% of gpu usage.
So the reason of Why I’m posting here is simple: Why is this happening? How can I reach more fps (more than 85-77 FPS) with Vsync off playing @1080p if I know that my gpu isn’t reaching its max potential playing only with 80% usage?
In other games I reach 99% GPU usage with high frames like the witcher III, fortnite, black ops III..
My set up:
GTX 1070 SC EVGA
i7 4770k
16GB Ram 1600
Windows 10
Samsung 27” Curved 144 hz
Sorry for my bad english, hope I can get an answer. Thank you so much!
