Battlefield 1 runs horribly with newer GPU

I recently bought a new GPU, The GTX 1060. An upgrade from my old 660ti. I was able to play BF1 on that card with a solid 60 fps and sometimes higher on medium settings. Now after the upgrade I struggle to get 30 fps and the game stutters all over the place. I am using hardware that is quite old compared to the tech of today, but I can't see why adding something better could possibly make it worse than it was before. Any help with this issue would be highly appreciated.

My specs are as follows
CPU: Intel i5 3570K
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 Dual Fan OC 6GB
MEMORY: G.Skill Ares F3-1600C10D-16GAO 16GB

I know this isn't ideal and will be updating the MOBO, RAM and CPU in about 6 months to a Ryzen based build. But for now I should be able to somehow play at least as good as before. All my other games work great, but BF1 is a real hassle.

Thanks in advance for your help.
