Processor- intel core i5-8250U
Base speed 1.6 Ghz
Turbo clock upto 3.40 Ghz
When I check the cpu performance during gaming using Intel turbo boost technology monitor, the cpu hits 3.40Ghz at launch, but when I play the game, the Clock drops and fluctuates somewhere around 2.5Ghz to 2.9Ghz.
There must be surely something I can do to improve CPU utility. The single core turbo clock as seen from wiki is 3.40 Ghz. But I don't think the quad core turbo will be as low as 2.5 or 2.9. Something seems amiss. Setting CORE AFFINITY in task manager doesn't help either :/
