Searching for an motherboard with Micro-ATX size for an AMD second generation Processor:

Form factor: Micro-ATX
Motherboardchipset: B450 or X470
RGB? HELL YEAH!!! :D
Purpose of new Motherboard: GAMING!

lately the intel cpu prices has gone rocketing lately for no reason, so i switch over to amd.

There are no X470 boards in mATX but you probably won't miss it. Either MSI B450M Mortar or Asrock B450M Pro4 are excellent choices, with RGB headers.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, depending on how you look at it) there are no really high-end mATX AM4 motherboards. So you won't find things like Intel lan, wifi and ultra-high-grade audio along with an 6 or 8 phase VRM for heavy overclocking of 8-core CPU's here. If you want that kind of feature set in small form factor you have to go mITX.

By most reports Intel seems to have lost control of their processes and have had to move things around some. That's probably lead to shortages which would of course mean price hikes, or least no discounting, by retailers.
