I recently had to reinstall windows to get around a disk checking boot loop that I could not find another way out of. Currently my biggest issue is that my Realtex HD audio manager is gone, and I cannot find a way to bring it back. The driver is installed and fully updated, but the controller does not appear in my icon menu.

Solution
Make and model of your motherboard? You may also want to double check that you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Did you source the drivers from the motherboard's manufacturer support site?

Realtek missing in Win10 is common, not sure why that is. Something Win10 is doing thats preventing audio manager.

Suggestion

Disable automatic driver updates

Download audio driver from Realtek.com

Boot to safemode and uninstall Realtek

Boot to normal windows, disable user account control temporarily and run Realtek driver you downloaded as administrator.

Then restart.

That was actually all it was, I had to pull the driver software from Gigabyte, not Realtek. Thanks!
