my mobo is the msi b350 pc mate, and has two pcie slots than can house graphics cards. i bought a gtx 1050 a while back, and it runs every game i throw at it quite nicely, albeit on medium settings. it just doesn't have enough vram to run games like r6 siege on highest settings and get 60 fps. i feel two lazy to sell it and get something like a gtx 1070, so i was wondering if running both a 1050 and a 1050 ti would work, and would it get me more performance than just a 1050 ti alone?

For future reference, SLI only works if both cards are the same (e.g. two GTX 1070s, a 1070 and a 1070 Ti would not work). Furthermore, that motherboard does not support SLI, only some Z-series mobos do (as far as Intel motherboards go). And of course as you discovered, Nvidia doesn't allow SLI on their lower tier cards.
