SSD or HDD

I currently have a 128gb m.2 ssd C drive and a 2.5 inch 1tb hdd. I have been getting slow read writes on the hdd as well as a SMART warning. I'm wondering if i should upgrade my m.2 to a larger ssd and get another hdd or if i should just replace the hdd with a larger ssd and keep my small m.2? I currently have about 500gb of games and media on my hdd. My pc is a ASUS GL702VM laptop.

Go with at least a 512mb sata III M.2 instead of NVME. You'll get twice the storage for your money.

if you have 500GB of data, get a 1TB drive.

you have no nvme ports anyway. sata only for you with that system. agreed get a 1TB ssd

i do in fact have a nvme. There are like 10 gl702vm models mine also has 12 gb ram

I dont know where youre from mate. Sata is only about 10% less up at the north pole. I'm leaning towards a 500gb mx500 sata with a 1tb hdd
