Ping Spikes in Games up to 350+ ms

Can I confirm that the hard disk is causing the ping spikes (not fps drops) for 3 seconds every minute ?

I did some hard disk tests (Random Seek Test) like Quick Test, Normal Test, Deep Test and Short Self-Test, Extended Self-Test, Surface Test with Hard Disk Sentinel getting some interesting reports:

If yes, how can I "fix" those bad sectors or at least remove those ping spikes after fixing the hdd bad sectors? Or any dos/software tool to fix this hdd issue.

I have in plan to buy an SSD but at the moment I want to fix those issues.

Solution
Drive issues should not cause your ping to go up, if you are getting bad sectors on a drive trying to fix them won't do you much good since the drive is way more likely to fail once it starts to get bad sectors. Even if you run a drive utility from the vendor to hide those bad sectors it will still have a much higher chance to fail than a good drive.

The internet isn't causing the ping spikes cuz I get those ping spikes even offline or when something "hard" is running for example games , it starts lagging like every minute for 2-3 seconds then comes back at it's normal ping.
Even the CPU and GPU aren't maxed out on usage percentage when gaming I mean like being being used at 100% percentage
Also I'm hearing some little "clicks" coming out from the hdd

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll surely do that but not the answer I was looking for, I am usually getting ping spikes on games let's say for example CS 1.6 or CS GO when I start to play in a server for example for a few seconds it works great with low pings 40-62~ ms then suddenly it goes up to 239-295~ ms for like 3-4 seconds then it goes back to normal and it continues with the same rhyme. I'm not really sure what is causing this the HDD or Network Interface Card (WI-FI) but I am sure and don't think that CPU or GPU is causing this issue. This also happens me even in "Browser Games" for example like Agar.io the same as on Video Games (CS 1.6 or CS GO) working excellent for a few seconds then starting lagging hard for 3-4 seconds and comes back to normal as nothing happened. This started happening to me since over 1 year ago , i bought this laptop 2 years ago in a PC Shop it was little used but was in perfect condition and didn't had any of such problems mentioned up. All I want is to identify the causes of what is causing those ping spikes and take concrete steps in this regard for a solution. Thanks

Wait a second, how can you get "ping spikes" when offline? When you are offline you can't "ping" anything because you are offline. Are you talking about the right thing here? A ping is a response from a server or another computer somewhere, if you are offline your pings will just time out.

You are right. When offline you can't ping but you can see and feel it (the lag). I tried to play connected with ethernet cable and interestingly the high ping spikes (250-290 ms) were gone all but still had some little little lags , not really frustrating at all which I think the hdd could cause those. I guess I have to upgrade two things

So slow down and lagging in games is not "ping", you are coming at the issue from the wrong place. If games are stuttering it could be a bunch of things, overheating system, failing hard drive having issues loading things, slower computer than the game needs to run well, driver issues (especially after Windows updates), etc...

The drive has bad sectors, replace it (with an SSD is best), install Windows clean on that, install drivers from the laptop vendor support site, see how things run then. If your ping to game server varies, that is your modem/router or IPS, WiFi connection if you are using that can also cause fluctuations in ping.

"So slow down and lagging in games is not "ping", you are coming at the issue from the wrong place" I ain't talking from my conjecture but based on what the game command shows me "net_graph" (Net_graph provides you with info such as latency (ping in ms), server speeds, fps loss, interpolation and tickrate) giving me clue and signs that the ping goes up randomly, "overheating system" It ain't really overheating when playing those games at least the mentioned up (except CS:GO, which normally need more "power" but the ping spikes are the same no matter "high" games or "low" ones), "failing hard drive having issues" that could one of the causes, "slower computer than the game needs to run well" My laptop does meet the requirements of those games, at least on low settings (CS:GO), "driver issues" this could be also. And about the WiFI and Modem, I already got a brand new modem from my ISP and bought a Wireless dual band router which supports 5Ghz and 2.4GHz (https://www.tp-link.com/uk/products/details/Archer-C60.html) but the ping spikes didn't gone. I'll try to do the upgrades; will try a new SSD and a new WiFI card which I think those only could be the causes of the online gaming random ping spikes. Anyways Thanks a lot for your time and the suggestions, I appreciate them (gave me a new clue for the ping problem (y) ). Have a nice day. ;)
