Windows 7 setup in 2018

My friend has recently built a PC and he has bought a windows 7 code as he doesn't like windows 10. How do I go about getting a bootable usb to setup windows 7? What do I need to install on to the usb? Thanks.

you need an ISO file you can download from the MS website but they will only provide the ISO by entering a valid license key. unless your super paranoid there is no reason to stick with windows 7 due to its lack of security and performance vs windows 10

also if they are trying to get windows 7 working a a modern PC build like 6+ gen intel CPU or AMD ryzen your going to have a very hard time installing it
