Do i Impulse buy this? pc specs

The specs:
OS: Windows 10 64bit (Genuine)
CPU: Intel Xeon X5667 (Up to 3.46 Ghz) - (Better than i7 950)
Cores: 4 Threads: 8
RAM: 56GB DDR3 ECC in triple channel
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5
HDD: 500GB 7200RPM
PSU: 1100W (80+ Certified)


the guy said it performs on games but my friend said it isn't that good

original ad so you can see what fps the games get before giving an opinion

There's no way I believe, at all, that those frame rates are even close to accurate with that very old CPU and a GTX 1060, a 3GB model rather than a 6GB model at that, at 1440p. That is outrageously false. No possible way that system performs that well. Even if that 1060 3gb card had a current Ryzen or Intel CPU to help it along it would still not achieve 60fps in some of those games at 1440p.

All of which fails to address the additional fact that you're buying old hardware which is likely to have a fairly short lifespan in the larger scheme of things. I'd save my money and put it towards something much newer. If he's lying about one thing you have to wonder what else he's not being honest about as well.
