If its still,soft & pliable its fine.
I dont believe in shelf life on thermal paste , ad long as its been kept sealed & at reasonable temps its fine.
Paste doesnt go 'off' , but can solidify/dry out to a point that makes it unuseable.

While Arctic MX-2 is known to deteriorate rapidly requiring reapplication every couple years, this is because the secret to its good performance is thin oil which pumps itself out over thermal cycling, leaving only the solids.
In the tube this is not going to be a problem, and even if the oil separates out, a quick stir and it should work like new.
