Hello, I'm looking for apropriate components for upgrade, or more likely new build, of my gaming PC. I want to use some current components as:

Case - CoolerMaster Storm Stryker
Power supply - Corsair HX850i 850W
CPU fan - Be quiet! Dark Rock PRO 3

+

I have CPU Intel Core i7-8086K

GPU will be custom RTX 2080 TI (probably MSI GeForce RTX 2080Ti DUKE 11G OC)

So I'm looking for motherboard, RAM and SSD M.2 at 480GB capacity.

Thanks vor tips in advance!

:)

About m.2 I would have a look on HP EX920 or samsung ones. There are still few that can keep 1.5 GBps and those are your discs of choice.

  • ■ Intel Optane 905p 480GB, as OS and main program drive, that's the fastest consumer storage on seek time (lowest latency), benefits: faster OS and application startup time, faster scenes loading, and life span.
    ■ Any DDR4 3200 or faster with CL 14 or lower (make sure you get dual rank to avoid mismatch module), benefits: allows CPU to cycle large instructions per second during gaming session, allows GPU to use higher data bandwidth via PCIE bus.
    ■ Any Z370 motherboard, for price/feature category I recommend Asrock Fatal1ty Gaming iTX/AC

Aye, I didn't mind buget as I will buy the components in local store here, in Czech Republic. So prices are in CZK and they could be misleading (sou could be budget). Overall, this is sortiment I'll chose form (Socket 1151, Z370):

https://www.czc.cz/zakladni-desky/produkty?q-c-1-f_2025175=sIntel%20Z370&q-c-0-f_2025182=s1151%20socket&q-first=27

Let's say the price should be about 5.000,- CZK. Personally I considered ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 GAMING K6.
