Usb drives not working on HP split 13 X2

HI forum. I'm having some issues with my HP split 13X2 where one usb doesn't work and the other produces an error where it will not recognize any usb device. I have reinstalled windows 10 without success

I have attemptedto update all the drivers individually and then also attempted to uninstall the devices. No success.

This machine originally ran on windows 8 but upgraded to windows 10.

Open the Windows Update feature on your computer and check whether all the drivers are updated to the latest version. In particular, make sure the USB drivers are up-to-date. If the driver software is updated and even then the issue persists, factory reset your laptop. When you reset the laptop to factory default version, the system settings restore to the factory mode. Close all the jobs and save your information before resetting. Disconnect the laptop from the network connection, if connected. Long press the Power button to turn off the device. Wait for some time and then turn it on. Open the Control Panel Settings menu, navigate to the bottom, and click the System Settings menu. Scroll the cursor down and select the Factory Reset option. Double-click the Reset Settings to Factory Default check-box. Click OK on the pop-up window. The reset process begins and the laptop restarts after the reset completes.
