Hello there! I am going to start by sharing my system spec.
Intel i3-4160 3.60 GHz
Amd R7 260x OC 2GB GDDR5 128-bit
4 GB RAM DDR3
Now the problem is summed up in the title however something weird is going on and I can't explain.
For example I ran Doom 2016 on medium settings with around 40- sometimes 50 FPS never below 40, but sometimes I got these frame freezes that lasted for like 2 seconds and then it went back to normal, the story repeated itself probably 20 times or more in a gaming session of a hour, until it became so frequent in was unplayable. Now the second time I played Doom was about 2 weeks ago and to my surprise the FPS freeze was gone, I never had this problem trough the whole game. Same thing goes on with final fantasy XV the first time i tried it the fps freeze was so bad that I could not play it but somehow I still had a stable 30 fps on Medium-Low, I am curios to try it again since it was too late for a refund.
Same thing goes with Vampyr I try to play it good stable FPS on medium settings but the game freezes for 1-2 seconds at some point.
So The questions at hand would be why these freezes if the fps is stable, and how could I play doom the second time without having a single problem. This shit is driving me insane since a friend of mine could play Vampyr on a much lower specs laptop without problems. Right now I plan for buying Monster Hunter but I am afraid same thing will happen again.
