Ok, I have a gigabyte ga-m57sli-s4 motherboard that does not have any sort of integrated graphics. I had a GE Force 8400 GS graphics card in it but the graphics card went bad. I have a spare ASUS eah3450 that I would like to install and I know it's good because my cousin just took it out of his desktop that was working fine and have it to me. So I swap out video cards in the same pci slot and I constantly get a no signal from my monitor, which is a 55 inch Samsung flatscreen, which I use as a monitor for my laptop. I am using the HDMI out on new card because it's the only way I have to hook up a screen. Why am I getting no signal? What do I need to do?

Ok, after reading some more posts, let me give you some more information. I am not getting any beeps at all. My DVD burner comes on, I had a copy of Windows 7 in the drive, it spins up like it is reading the disk, them slows down a little like it is wanting to boot from it, the little green light on the drive is steadily flashing on and off. All my adjustable fans come on, all lights come on. I have tried pulling all but one of my DDR2 sticks with no change. I really hope the board itself isn't shot, but it was working fine with the other video card until I took it out to put it in another pc and accidentially ruined it (long story, don't ask, lol)
Please!!!! Someone help me. This computer is my media center for my livingroom, so now I don't have tv, music, movies, games, nothing. And I really can't afford to buy a new computer, amd hopefully I won't jave to buy parts for this one. Could it be the bios or something like that, though I thought that no matter what I was supposed to at least have a low resolution picture even with no driver software installed for the new card. Please help.

The video card that was in there, I took out for some reason and messed it up on accident. The one I am putting in, my cousin just took it out of one of his working computers and have it to me, I know it is working and good. And yes, up until I took the original card out the computer ran perfectly fine. It runs my media center in my living room. It's just now it is acting weird and not wanting to display anything anymore.
