Howdy Howdy! Recentely I OC'ed my AMD FX-4300 on my old custom PC at 3.9 GHz as boost but I don't see any "major" differences from 3.8 GHz in most games. My question is what's the "highest" stable overclock for AMD FX-4300?! A few tips might be helpful to get a stable overclock for my FX-4300.

My PC Specs:
AMD FX-4300
Gigabyte GA-970 G1 Gaming Rev 1.0 or 1.1 (I can't remember really well which rev. version it is.)
Wraith Stock Cooler (taken from my old FX 6350)
HyperX BEAST 8GB DDR3 Dual Channel 1866MHz
Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB OC WindForce X2 Edition
Corsair RM850x

Also after I've overclocked my CPU I disabled some settings in BIOS:
C1E Disabled
C6 state Disabled
APM on Auto
Cool And Quiet Auto

Good to know that but can be stable If I OC my FX-4300 to 4.8 or maybe a little bit lower like 4.5 GHz using the stock cooler or it could be a really bad idea? Also It would be helpful to know what are the best setting for FSB, CPU NB, HTL , DDR3 (e.g 1.510v or lower/higher), CPU NB VID and CPU Voltage for a stable OC for that CPU.

Exactly I thought and realized that too the stock cooler won't handle 4.8 GHz even "Wraith" cooler has a little better cooling thermal system than the old FX-4300 stock cooler If I'm not wrong. But still was thinking to OC my FX-4300 at least to 4.3 GHz which probably would be almost stable without any other issues. I would really appreciate to know what are best settings to have a stable OC to 4.3 GHz in BIOS/UEFI! Thanks!

UPDATE: Somehow I finally managed to OC'ed my FX-4300 to 4.1 GHz by only increasing the CPU Clock Ratio and it went pretty well for the moment but the thing is that I'm not really sure how much it will be stable. I mean eventually it's stable but it's possible to encounter an unexpectedly BSOD just in any sec or minutes. For example, yesterday I've tested Shadow Warrior 2 (which I get it free on GOG) and I can say the game runs really smoothly but after 2 hours of gameplay, it just crashed to desktop which I don't know whether it's a just a bug or because I just OC'ed my CPU and that can cause the game to crash and exit itself to desktop which Shadow Warrior (2013) has a similar issue.
