I'm trying to reach at least 4.7ghz on my i7. I have a pretty decent cooler and my temps run fine. But I having hard time with my motherboard bios. I have a menu called Over Voltage and I have found that if I change the option "Processor input voltage" I wont be able to post in most cases and have to reset my bios. Further down there's and option to select adaptive or override and it has an offset that you can enter for the voltage. Setting it to override causes the same issues that "process input voltage" I have also had a couple small increases (4.6,5) work really well and bench high on CPUZ but loose it sometimes when rebooting (bios settings don't change, OC just benches less and preforms "slow" if that makes sense.)
