I'm in the market for a mid level gaming pc and found these two deals from Newegg:
A)http://
b)http://
(sorry can't fix url display)

Can I put a full size GTX 1060 in either one and be done with it? Or should I wait for something better coming Black Friday? btw I'm not very PC building inclined so a prebuilt machine is the best for me. Budget is $600- $650 tops.

Solution
No telling what black Friday will bring.
But those deals tend to be for older products.
If you have a need now, buy now.
I think the i5-8400 based pc is a good deal.
The i5-8400 is one of the best mid range gaming processors out there.
the i5-8400 would be the processor of choice for many builds.
Included is HD630 graphics which can get you started.
That will let you better assess just how strong your need is for fast graphics.
The 300w psu is not strong enough for a GTX1060, but you can run a GTX1050ti which is still a very close competitor.
My guess is that the GTX1050ti would be very appropriate.

Ultimately, down the line you may want a very fast graphics card if you play fast action games.
For that, you would need to replace the...

Either one will need a new psu to support a gtx 1060.

One thing missing is a SSD for windows.
Since you have a bit more budget, I suggest buying a 240gb Samsung SSD for about $70.
It will hold the os and a fair number of games.
Use the free Samsung ssd migration app to move your C drive to the ssd.
This is a trivially easy process.
There is no risk since the HDD is untouched.
The 1tb HDD can now be entirely used for data or apps

The motherboard supports a m.2 ssd but it is unclear if that is a pcie or sata attachment.
Wait until you get the pc to decide if you want a conventional 2.5" ssd or a m.2 device and what type of m.2 you can install.

Thank you for the info, helps a lot. I want to play games like Squad, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Rome Total War 2, city building types of game. Will this machine do ok with a GTX1050i?
