My pc starts lagging after exactly 3 hours 15 min

Hello. I have had this problem for a half year now and tried everything… updating Graphics drivers, reinstalling them, doing memtest, defragging hdd and nothing seems to work.
I have looked for similar issues and tried to fix it but nothing worked for me.
Could this be hardware issue?

So when I boot my pc all the games work fine and everything is much faster. But then after it has been on for 3 hours and 15 minutes. My games will start lagging/stuttering and it's unplayable. Normally playing gives me the screen tearing but when the lag occurs it will just disappear and it feels like there is much more input lag.
And to fix this lag I just have to simply restart my pc and everything will work fine again for 3 hours and 15 minutes when I have to restart it again.
Any ideas what could cause this?

Oh yea and my psu sometimes makes grinding noises.

maybe an update is going on at this time, any processes using more than 30-100% of the CPU while lagging?

is your windows version activated?

Check the temperatures of the CPU and GPU

check for viruses

check RAM by memtest.org usb autoinstaller

check the HDD by its manufacturer´s tool

Strange that the timing is EXACTLY 3 hours and 15 minutes.

This could be a heating problem but the timing would be very variable.

More likely some sort of an app is being initiated that is causing a problem
Start monitoring with task manager.
Look when things are going well to compare when things go bad.

First, though, run malwarebytes free edition.
Check your windows 10 settings.
By default you give windows permission to use your pc to distribute updates to others.
There are a bunch of privacy settings you should disable.
Do not allow updates to the extent you can.

Check your power plan settings. Not unheard of for windows to think it's on a laptop and start shutting down non essential stuff to conserve the battery after a certain time period. Also check bios for any type of eco restrictions, these can be disabled on a pc

Thanks all for response.

So I haven't activated windows 10 yet. Should I do it?
I haven't seen anything unsual in task manager no programs that take a lot of cpu or memory.
I have checked for viruses using avast and malwarebytes and I only found PUP optional a few times I scanned.
And how could this be overheating problem when it always happens at the same time. My cpu gets max 73 C at 100% usage.
I went to hdd manufacturers website and downloaded the program to check my hdd and it was all fine.

So it's actually 0:03:12:00 when the lag starts so 3 h 12 min.
I looked my task manager while playing fortnite and this is picture when the pc had been on for 3 hours and 10 min

and this is after 3 hours and 12 min http://tinypic.com/r/2vlqik9/9 (if you can't see it click zoom).
Everything was working perfectly before 3h 12min.
I noticed that ram cache can get up to 4gb of 8gb.
So yeah I don't know what's causing this and I can post more pictures.
Thanks for helping me guys!

check the temperature and clock of CPU and GPU before and after

check resourcemonitor (avaa resurssienvalvonta), any process using more percent of HDD, internet, RAM, CPU than before

activate windows
reset windows if this won´t help or vise versa

Which antivirus and eventually firewall are you using?

Only online games or offline games as well?
