My sound keeps cutting in and out

When I start up a game on my computer, usually r6, my sound starts to rapidly turn on and off. When I click on the icon in the bottom right corner, it either says working fine, or that there is no device plugged in. I have a logitech g430 gaming headset. This only happens after I start up a game, and it continues for a while after I close it. Please help it is driving me insane!

Possibly a bad connection within the headset's wiring or its' plug. Or possibly the audio port on the host computer.

Try your headset on another computer.

Try another headset on your computer.

Determine if the problem follows the headset or stays with your computer.
