Hitting F1 during startup bricked my corsair keyboard

Hi, so while starting up my Dell Inspiron i pressed F1 in an attempt to access my bios settings. Not only did this not get me the bios settings, it bricked my Corsair Strafe keyboard. During the startup a page with a dell logo flashed up and vanished vary quickly and said something about keyboard error. My corsair now no longer works with any computer. It does light up when plugged in but switches weirdly between lighting modes and sometimes lights up all the keys except q-/. It also no longer shows up in the Corsair utility engine.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Since i have Corsair Strafe RGB KB in use with my Skylake build (full specs with pics in my sig), here's one secret way to try:
Note: Using Corsair Effects Engine (CEE) alongside Corsair Utility Engine (iCUE) will mess up LEDs and you'll see weird flickering. If you have CEE running, you'll need to close it.

Open up Corsair iCUE and look if it detects your KB. My guess is that it does not. If so, press following key combo: F1 + Win lock key (upper right corner).

This key combo activates Legacy mode on your KB and after 5 or so seconds, LEDs also lit up, which red backlight, (for Strafe RGB: WASD and arrow keys have white backlight). Wait for 10 or so seconds and press F1 + Win lock key combo again. That reverts back to the normal mode and after 10 or so seconds, iCUE should detect your KB again, so that you can use your KB with custom lighting and macro profiles as always.

If the above way doesn't work, RMA your KB.
