I got a buddy camper about 500ft from my house he wanting to put a computer in there to play online games . I trying find out if it possible to run him internet from my house and be able to play online? either with wireless or with a cable of some sort

You could use directional wireless bridges on both ends. Ubiquiti sell quite a large line but their older nano stations likely would work. All depends how fast it really needs to be. You can not have buildings or a lot of trees in the way.

There really is not good cable method. Ethernet is limited to 300ft. There are forms of ethernet extenders that use a form of DSL but with the amount of effort involved to get a cable run they are not really worth the poor speeds. If you really wanted to do it you would run fiber cable. It is fairly expensive but you would get at least gigabit speeds.

Those are newer than the ones I have used but I assume they are just faster versions.

It is still wifi unfortunately but because you use them in pairs and the beam is fairly narrow they do not suffer as much of a problem with interference as your more common wifi used on end devices. The latency is very consistent so games should work. Heavy rain storms degrade them but at your distance it would only be very strong storms that had any effect.

So all I will need is 2 of them and he will need a router correct? I will run out my router into the namobeam that one points at the other then run into his router anything special I need

Think of the pair of nanobeams as a ethernet cable. You do not need a actual router on the remote end you could use a AP. You could use just a switch if you do not need wifi. But it is mostly a personal choice if you run the device as a router or as a AP at the remote location. The main problem with running 2 routers tends to be related to the 2 layers of NAT and the use of things like game console that need to try to bypass the nat. They have enough issues with just a single level of nat.

So I got everything installed and have 4 bars on signal but I csnt seem to get internet it says unidentified network so I am stuck at trying find out how to get the internet to the AP

You should be able to plug a pc into the nanobeam on the remote end. It should show that it is connected to the main one in the house. The last ones I used also had alignment led so you could tell if the signal was good between the 2 units.

You need to go back through the install instructions and make sure you have everything set properly. You want the pair of nano beams to run run in ptp bridge mode. That should be the setting out of the box.

After that verify the cabling is correct. If you are using the power injectors be very sure you have things plug in the proper ports.

You should get more speed but it takes very careful alignment. Although not a huge issue at short distance you want them as far above the ground as you can. The device can get reflections of their own signals from the ground. Also be sure nothing is in the path. Simple things like tree branches can block quite a bit of the signal.
