Hi guys, I have a new system for a couple of months now, but I noticed that whenever I'm installing/unzipping ANYTHING the computer has massive lag spikes, like the screen will freeze for about 5 seconds and become completely unresponsive for a while and then go back to working normally, then lag again.. Until I'm done installing whatever it is.
My PC is fairly decent. i7 8700, gtx 1080ti, 16gb ddr4, msi z370 gaming plus, SP SSD500gb.
I'm not speaking about installing anything extreme, just regular stuff that I would install on my previous PCs and keep on browsing, gaming normally, but it seems that something goes really wrong whenever I need to do any cpu or ssd intensive.
I know that my SSD is from a cheap brand and seems to be the weak link, but I'm worried that there might be something wrong with the motherboard that can't "control" the loads or it could be the CPU?
I appreciate any help or tips you guys could give me!
