Hi there folks, I kind of already asked this and got a bunch of answers, but still it isnt that clear to me...so I will try to be a bit more specific here as maybe I wasnt phrasing it right before...

Im about to get an "MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 SLI DirectX 12 VR Ready ITX Graphics Card (GTX 1070 AERO ITX 8G OC) " video card which could be found here https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06X1GZB5F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1 and my PC is an i7 6700 with a default/integrated 500W PSU. My exact computer and its specs are here https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04799759 to know exactly what I have.

I've been searching for answers and probably went over everything I could find and came across a bunch of useful replies on the net, but am still in doubts...

Will my current PSU be able to run that video card? I mean on paper it clearly says 500W is enough to run it. I do realize ppl recommend upgrading and stuff, but im really wondering if it is indeed needed according to the specs I provided in the link above or can go without...

Of course its best to get a bit of a more decent PSU, but what im interested in is just making sure that by not upgrading im not gonna kill my PC.

Should I be fine running that card with my integrated 500W PSU that I bought the PC with?

I am currently running 1060 Mini 6GB with no issues.
It also does look like my PSU has 6+2 pin connectors coming out of it upon checking it today, which are separate from another 6 pin one that is currently connected to my 1060, so I should be able to connect an 8 pin GPU to it, so just want to make sure that i should be fine doing it without overwhelming my system and without killing it, or you definitely think that if I connect that 1070 then I will destroy my pc, cause if so then I guess ill have to either stick with 1060 or upgrade PSU, but if you think i shall be fine cause lots of ppl and companies I found say that it will be fine with 450-500 for that card, then id appreciate those advice.

Also, in case it matters, i do not hard game, so maybe 2 days a week I could have few games run here and there on ultra for a few hours, but aside from that there is no 24/7 gaming going on, so id aprpeciate if somone could either confirm that ill destroy my machine by not upgrading or will be fine without.

Total wattage: 500 W external power adapter (100V-240V)

I've always found the PSUs in HP computers to be ok, they're not great but they're not rubbish either. My thoughts are it will work, however, if something does fail you are risking potential damage to other components. For that reason, I'll say you should look to replace the PSU too, maybe it doesn't need to be straight away, but don't leave it too long.
