Dram debug error when booting

Motherboard: MSI B360 Gaming Plus
Ram: Corsair DDR4 2133 8gb
CPU: i5 6400
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 480

I just finished building my pc and when i boot it would start then shut down 3 seconds later. The debug leds on the motherboard show that “cpu” blinked then it have a long pause on the “dram” then shut down. All the parts were brand new, but haven’t tested any other rams sticks. Also when there is no ram in the socket it would stay running but nothing would happen.

So you're saying if i switch out the cpu it would be fine?

Have no idea about the ram, but nothing will work if the cpu isnt compatible with the mobo

The I5 8440 wll work, as long as BIOS 2.1 is on the mobo (It should work, since 2.1 is the 1st BIOS)
